About GNHR

GNHR is a comprehensive household registry platform. It is the main data source for all social protection and support programs in Ghana. The registry covers a large range of datasets including demographics, geographical, agricultural, educational, living standards, assets, medical, etc of households and individual members of households.

The platform allows for easy household registration and updates using a cloud based configurable PMT questionnaire derived from the GLSS (Ghana Living Standards Survey). Every household registered goes through a four-tier quality assurance process to ensure the high data integrity of the Registry.

The household registrations/updates and quality assurance processes include a call center system for case reporting and management. General statistics disaggregated by regions, districts, and/or communities are available to the general public via the GNHR website and dedicated registry dashboard. More detailed or granular data can be requested via our national registry platform.
The platform shares data via approved REST API integrations and other formats like Excel and/or CSV. The Registry has integrated with other social protection programs and is currently integrating with the National Health Insurance and National Identification Authority for easy and quick data exchange and validations.
